What is a portable application?
A portable application is a program that you can copy to any folder on your PC, notebook, or USB stick. Just unpack it and start it right away. JavaComm is such a portable. Want to remove it? No problem – just delete the folder, and JavaComm is gone.

New features in version 260807
The user ID field has been removed from the “Edit Account” dialog.
The network congestion during simultaneous audio and video transmission has been resolved. Voice playback now starts earlier.
The log4j2.xml file is loaded from the /etc directory. Program information can be adjusted without modifying the application.
The screen sharing self-test has been corrected. The test now verifies screen sharing reliably again.
User interface texts have been revised. Corrections and wording updates improve clarity.
A bug in 1:1 audio and video transmission has been fixed. Audio transmission remains active when video transmission is stopped.
A bug affecting the display of new group rooms and break rooms has been fixed. Newly created rooms are now displayed correctly in the navigation view.
The private chat dialog has been revised and simplified.
The maximum file upload size has been increased from 300 MB to 700 MB.
The “Call” and “Caller” windows now include a “Share” button for screen sharing. Screen sharing can now be started directly from the call window.
